God and Disaster
In one episode of the Simpsons, Springfield is hit by a hurricane. The next day, the Simpsons go to church, and the sign out front says:

It always amazes me when people who survive a disaster where others die, or win a game where others lose, or win the lottery, etc., that claim their survival/luck was because they prayed really hard. That means the dead/losers didn't pray hard enough to get the attention of their vain diety.
